Sidhi in NICNET
NIC has taken upon itself the ask to
make sure that India becomes an active member of the 'Global Village' as created by the
INTERNET.The Internet services of NIC are provided through
NICNET, NIC' s satellite based computer communication network in the district open to all
government offices from the day of its establishment in district Sidhi.

All 5 Blocks and 6 tehsils along with 43 district level offices
of government of Madhya Pradesh are connected to NICNET using
dial-up connectivity from their respective offices via RAS Finder
of DIC-Sidhi.

DIC-Sidhi
has designed, developed, hosted and maintaining from time to time, the district website (www.sidhi.mp.gov.in).
Also, another website for Rashtriya Sam Vikas Yojana (www.sidhi.mp.gov.in/rsvy)
was designed by DIC-Sidhi and and hosted on NIC Web Server, which was the first ever site
in Madhya Pradesh hosted for RSVY.

is known all over the Country for providing one of the best platforms for getting trained
in the field of Information Technology. Training at DIC-Sidhi has proved to be immensely
beneficial for the staff of Government Departments etc. in bringing about cultural and
attitudinal change pertaining to their way of functioning. From awareness creation of
senior officials like SDMs, Addl. Collectors, Dy. Collectors etc., to routine programming
and operational training of the staff at the working level like Clerks, Data Entry
Operators of all Departments, tehsils, blocks etc., DIC-Sidhi's training facilities
encompass all kinds of courses for various levels of officials. Since last one year,
DIC-Sidhi has provided training for around 100 employees of different level ranging from
Addl. Collector to Data Entry Operators of District Sidhi on various topics.
Elections Made Easier in
Sidhi
DIC-Sidhi
computerized each and every task, which include polling party formation, Randomization of
polling parties, Randomization of EVMs etc. of all Parliament, Assembly as well as
Panchayat elections held since 1988. During General Parliament Elections 200, a Video CD
was prepared for training of Polling party personnel screening how to use EVMs and all Do
's and and Don't 's with EVMs. In every election DIC was very much appriciated for playing
it's important role succuess fully by several Election Observers and District
Administration.

a part of the above mentioned major atvities, has successfully implemented several
National & State Level Computrization Projects wich include:
Parakh:
A software provides the current status about basic aminities of
each and every village of district. Data is being consolidated
on 25th of every month at all Blocks from each of it's villages
and on 27th the same is getting consolidated at DIC.
Bhu-Abhilekh:
A software, using which Land Records section of district is providing computerized Khasra
& Khathauni of their respective lands to public of Sidhi .
Below
Poverty Line Survey: A software, in which, all families lying below poverty
line in the district were entered and this data base is playing a vital role in so many
important decision making process by district administration.
Other
software implemented successfully includes 8th All India School
Educational Survey, Minor Irrigation Census, Agriculture Crop
Insurance, Computerized Payroll, CNAA,education,e-scholarship,MGNREGA,RuralSoft,MCTS,Works
Monitoring System,IAPMIS,MP/MLA LAD,Census2011,LokSewa Gurantee,
e-Khanij,express,Jansunvai etc.
